Time to Get Serious

Well so it's Labor Day and also, the last day of summer for me. What did I do with my day? Work and hung out at a friend's house in Long Island and ended up watching "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." A favorite of my random comedies mainly because of Kevin James. I totally adore him ^^. Especially for the fact that it's a gay comedy. LOVES ET!
No party over here though. Just casual hanging out with my tired and sulking self.

So classes are starting tomorrow. I'm attending Nassau Community College for the rest of the year and a half ( 3 semesters) I have left including this one at present. I'm planning to finish up the 2 years at Nassau with blow out art project entries and make my way towards getting into Parsons with a more confident portfolio. Which is my main goal as of yet. I NEED to make it. Otherwise I'll probably fall into FIT and rework my way into Parsons again.

I'm taking four classes this semester; English, Finance, Graphic Design for my second term and a Painting class because I've never officially taken an actual painting class throughout my years of art. Actually, I've never taken ANY actual art classes except from the art classes I had from my public high school and middle school where I was practically ADD with my academic responsibilities. Kind of surprises me now that I think about it that I actually kept a decent level of grades. But I did and I'm damn proud that I got out of those ghetto/thug life influenced theme of surroundings.
But yes, I'm excited to finally hone my skill in painting and move up another skill in graphic design. Because I totally lack in general photoshop skills and whatnot. Which reminds me that I need to get better at Adobe Illustrator...

I'll keep all of my art homeworks and projects posted for this blog. Which is what I'm making this blog all about.
My artwork and ideals towards my artistic goals in life.
So I definately can't wait for my back to back art classes on Wednesday! Get this artwork rolling!

"So I'm getting less than 4 hours of sleep now because..."

I've been working on my layout for the past couple of... well for the past hour. I realized that I have no idea what to do with my page yet nor what to write in all of these descriptions and profile perks and whatnot. Getting a little frustrated because I want to do a lot to get my page going. Such as a big mural kind of thing going on on the top of my title section representing me and my art.
"UGHH!!!"
